Year 7-8

Homeroom

All year 7 and 8 children have a Homeroom class. This is their main class where they learn Reading, Writing and Social Studies. It takes up 10 hours of their timetabled week. The other 15 hours are broken up into Maths, Science, Physical Education and 2 option classes. The children move around their different classes with this same group of children. 

Options classes for year 7 and 8 include Food Technology, Art, Maori, Wood Tec, Digital Technology, Music, French and Drama. Each term the children have 2 different option classes. 

This year our Homeroom team consists of Erica Milligan (HOD and Dean of Year 7 and 8), Natasha Freeman and Sharlene Goodwin. 

We have a family community vibe and enjoy participating and representing our school in sporting and cultural events in our area.
