These are important years in a student’s academic life. They need to consolidate good learning habits to move into NCEA, feeling confident they have the skills to be successful. Each student is unique and has different passions and interests. By tapping into these passions and interests, we believe each student will engage more in their learning and be the best they can be.

The design of our new-look curriculum lets students follow their interests while still maintaining a broad curriculum. It allows students to do more of whatever they love while having the ability to try a range of different subjects.

The school year is broken up into two semesters, and students will choose 12 different courses for the year. They'll complete six in the first semester and six in the second. For students who complete two years of this curriculum, they'll complete 24 courses.
